issue 8 (I can't convert Vietnamese dictionaries) commented on by phunguyendang   -   Yes, it works. But this data has no name so I had to load other valid data first. Then I loaded this Hồ Ngọc Đức's data in to the tool and it was OK. However, I also want to convert some other dic data like Vietnammese - Japanese. I tried and got the same problem. So, what is the real matter ? Old type of dic format ?

issue 8 (I can't convert Vietnamese dictionaries) commented on by 1ec5.org   -   As a workaround, you can use the StarDict package that Hồ Ngọc Đức put together <http://www.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/~duc/Dict/install.html>. It contains only Anh-Việt and Việt-Anh dictionaries. Look for them in the App/StarDict/Dic/ directory inside the ZIP file. With a bzip2 tool like StuffIt (there probably are free alternatives), compress the AnhViet and VietAnh folders into two .tar.bz2 files.

I'm also attaching the compiled files (in the "bin" folder), you can place them in the DictUnifier application (the correct place is in DictUnifier.app/Contents/Resources/sdconv-current/bin).

issue 12 (Stardict 2.4.8 format not supported) reported by seeseafly   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Download a dictionary from http://reciteword.sourceforge.net/stardict/powerword.php, such as http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/stardict/stardict-powerword2007_pwdeeahd-2.4.2.tar.bz2?download 2. Try to convert it using DictUnifier (process finishes successfully) 3. Try to use new dictionary What is the expected output? What do you see instead? expected to get the translation but see "format not supported" instead What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? DictUnifier 1.1 also tried patched version download from http://mac-dictionary-kit.googlecode.com/issues/attachment?aid=2734227378122100920&name=DictUnifier.zip Leopard 10.5.6 Please provide any additional information below. issue 4 (Stardict-babylon format not supported) commented on by Oguz.Celikdemir   -   Dear friends, glromeo has modified a file inside the Dictunifier. If you are using never version of Dictunifier, conversation will not work. I don't know how we can compile a c++ file inside the mac. If melfar or glromeo can explain the patch way, I believe that you can do this right way.

issue 4 (Stardict-babylon format not supported) commented on by melfar   -   glromeo: I downloaded the modified version you attached, and it seemed to be the original version — it still produced the Format not supported messages. I tried patching the TRUNK against your patch, and it converted the Finnish dictionary I wanted with no problem.
