This tool is complex and very important, and has a lot of functionality. It needs

• More tests.
• More efficient code, especially a stream/iterator orientation.
• Some features need to work better, especially features for resuming checksums and those for continual/incremental checksumming.
• There are some new features to build and some limitations to lift, especially around binlog-do-db and similar.
• Mark Callaghan's team wrote a similar tool for Google, and we should really see what we can learn from it.
