mk-log-parser should be able to consume the general log. This will require special-case parsing, just the same way we did for the slow log. Low priority. |

From duplicate issue 413 : In common/LogParser.pm we have a failed attempt at a general log parser. There was a request on IRC for this today, too. This referred to http://forge.mysql.com/tools/tool.php?id=134 as a starting point. I think we can do this fairly easily (although it should be low priority). The main thing that needs to change in mk-query-digest proper is that it should discover there is no Query_time attribute on events, and sort by count descending instead of Query_time:sum. |
