Description

This is an android application able to read the Spanish "National Lottery" by scanning the barcode printed on the lottery ticket and query a server to check if it has any prize.

Features

• Shows on the screen the ticked data formatted like an original lottery ticket.
• Uses a intent to launch the Google ZXing barcode scanner (http://code.google.com/p/zxing/).
• If ZXing is not installed, shows an alert dialog and redirects the user to the Android Market page.
• Can be used as a base project to support more lotteries.
• Uses a scraper to the official page (http://www.onlae.es/loteria/comprobar.aspx) to check the prize.

This app was developed on an Android Codesprint on the Mobile Cell Labs 2010-10-13/2010-10-14 organized by Movil Film Fest (http://www.movilfilmfest.com/), Androides (http://and.roid.es) and supported by CAMON (http://www.tucamon.es) and Sony Ericsson Spain.

Release
