Comment by levy.santanna, Jul 08, 2009

3G is a good feature since a lot of netbooks is coming with 3G, like Dell Mini

Comment by spartango, Jul 09, 2009

Excellent work with 0.2! Congrats on a good build!

Comment by db.hates.you, Jul 09, 2009

a way to add files to the system

Comment by JGabiMark, Jul 10, 2009

It`ll be great if we can prove Android Market in Live-Android! And install games and programms!

Comment by n.dorwig, Jul 10, 2009

liveUSB would be a good feature. testing liveandroid in a virtual environment vs a real eeePC is not the same.

wireless would also be a big benefit!

and again: excellent work!

Comment by pydubreucq, Jul 10, 2009

Hi, I'm suggest to have more than one keyboard type. Actually live-android just have qwerty keyboard. I think it could be good to have another keyboard type like azerty (it's french keyboard) Thanks for all. Bye

Comment by protomank, Jul 10, 2009

Wow, I want the 0.3 version to place on my USB pendrive and test on a real eeePC 701 :D Congratulations for this project!

Comment by ilovesinai, Jul 10, 2009

I would love to push somehow my developing apps directly in liveandroid :)

Comment by monteslu, Jul 10, 2009

on fedora you can create a live usb or sd card out of any bootable iso. I'm sure the tools are available on other distros too

Comment by jason.hough, Jul 10, 2009

support higher graphics resolutions, and touch screens

Comment by gpapasergio, Jul 11, 2009

An hd installable version sounds good. With an interface more oriented to netbook functions. Great Work!

Comment by gpapasergio, Jul 11, 2009

easy way to write the image to a usb key

Comment by nickb1990, Jul 11, 2009

ACPI support, the on/off button for my computer does not work. And I cannot shut down using the GUI.

Audio, SD card and install are highest priority in my eyes.

Comment by ZionAndKyely, Jul 11, 2009

When I mount my phone over USB would it be possible for the live CD to recognize my phone's SD Card as it's own SD Card?

Comment by darren.hoo, Jul 12, 2009

Yes!I think SD card is highest priority too,so I can try many android apps out there.

Comment by spartango, Jul 12, 2009

Fyi - HD install can be as simple as a format and copy and install Syslinux/grub

Comment by kayinstorm, Jul 13, 2009

Support for my laptop's ethernet/wifi, and an install option. After that, market would be nice, but Android works exceedingly well on my dev lappy.

Comment by norman_chao@pegatroncorp.com, Jul 14, 2009

Do you have any plan to support the normal notebook or pc functions such as printer, usb host(mass storage), projector connecting? I think all users would be very appreciative of these functions.

Comment by ales.pristovnik, Jul 14, 2009

How can I get source code?

I follow up instructions but I can find only a few files. http://code.google.com/p/live-android/source/checkout

Directory of C:\Android

14.07.2009 15:16 <DIR> . 14.07.2009 15:16 <DIR> .. 14.07.2009 15:12 4.356 init.patch 14.07.2009 15:12 8.944 init.rc 14.07.2009 15:12 2.191.184 kernel 14.07.2009 15:12 2.113.331 ramdisk

Comment by smcpoland, Jul 15, 2009

Add to that.

.Net functionality, aka MONO

OpenOffice? and all other useful business apps...

regards

Comment by protomank, Jul 15, 2009

smcpoland, I think you are misunderstanding things. If you want mono and openoffice, get a linux distro such as OpenSuse? or Ubuntu. Android is not a kind of linux distribution you can usually find, it does have different programs and does not run X11 or Linux apps - it is able to, but not the idea of it. I do not see reason why you must put x11 and programs on it, because it would simple turn into just another linux distro.

Comment by LatinSuD, Jul 18, 2009

Doesn't it have an on-screen-keyboard? I would like to try it.

Comment by advaitkunte, Jul 20, 2009

waiting for the v0.3

Looks very good waiting for intallation on HD, audio, wifi...

THANX A LOT GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOOOOD WORK!!!!!

Comment by rbaulch, Jul 20, 2009

touchscreen support would be fantastic. I'm looking at using this for CarPC builds once it matures a bit more...

Comment by nickb1990, Jul 28, 2009

NEVER EVER integrate Debian into Android. It defeats the lightweight Java-based philosophy and will turn it in just another Linux distro. Don't get me wrong though, Debian (Ubuntu) is great! But the two don't belong together.

Anyway, ACPI drivers really needs to be implemented. It would be even better if ACPI support is a native feature in vanilla Android. Real smartphones should be ACPI compatible! It is a must for x86 devices anyway! Think of /proc/acpi/battery/BAT/state...

Comment by icefox.hkg, Jul 30, 2009

Pls add Proxy settings.

Comment by munirs, Aug 02, 2009

Great work so far!

+1 for Marketplace support

Comment by evosixnine, Aug 04, 2009

Hi :) Making Android Distro for x86 machines, especially for netbooks is a great idea, but I have two big wishes (but cannot find the wishlist so i wrote them here) First, is to make usb image file in .img format - its much easier to make bootable usb on windows with that. Second is VIA support - now i'm downloading liveandroid, but i'm sure it wont start on my netbook with VIA C7-M processor and VIA VX800 chip - i'll try, but i think you'll see my issue soon..

sorry for my bad english..

greetings and congratulations :)

dolin

Comment by evosixnine, Aug 04, 2009

oh, and i'm against integrating it with debian, too..

Comment by amy.winarske, Aug 18, 2009

Comment by java.jago, Aug 24, 2009

I would love to have a possibility to easily install native Linux/Debian apps in an easy way. Will this ever be possible?

Comment by deba94, Aug 25, 2009

Great work! Webcam support for the next version would be awesome. :)

Comment by stavros....@gmail.com, Aug 26, 2009

Comment by mogleproductions, Sep 15, 2009

Works on Toshiba P205D laptop -- can get internet, but sound does not work and mouse is glitchy. Also could not get sound using VirtualBox? 2.2.4.

Great work! I'm really excited about v.04!
