Trying in Sun VirtualBox? on iMac under Mac OS X 10.5.7. I get the splash screen and the pulsing A N D R O I D startup screen - but it never leaves the latter. The splash screen image is garbage in 1024x728 but fine in 800x600.

Use Android-x86. It provides full source tree, and can be installed to harddisk. Besides, there are very nice screenshots in their websites. Much better than live-android! Refer http://www.android-x86.org
