Trying in Sun VirtualBox? on iMac under Mac OS X 10.5.7. I get the splash screen and the pulsing A N D R O I D startup screen - but it never leaves the latter. The splash screen image is garbage in 1024x728 but fine in 800x600.

Use Android-x86. It provides full source tree, and can be installed to harddisk. Besides, there are very nice screenshots in their websites. Much better than live-android! Refer http://www.android-x86.org

it would really be helpful to NOT use the windows key and the windows menu key for home and menu to the guest os. believe it or not, not everyone has those keys (me included). it would be consistent with the console/gui keys to make them Fkeys.

I was unable to use the mouse to interact with the android OS in VirtualBox?. I tried to use the hot keys listed in th OP but they weren't working and I couldn't get past the Android "Lock" Screen. I discovered that if you toggle the "Disable Mouse Integration" in VirtualBox?, and click the mouse in the VM, the VM will capture the input devices and you can then interact with Android using your mouse. To toggle the setting the use the key combo HostKey?+I, where the Hostkey is whatever you set it to. Not sure what the default is for the HostKey?, on mine it is set to Right Ctrl. So Right Ctrl+I works for me.
