| Issue 6: | Re-rendering a Table Causes the Columns to Jump Around | |
| 1 person starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Create a data provider that allows for multiple tables to be shown (in my case I have a list of groupings in a select box and based on the selected value in that box, I show the items in that group) - think of it like Genres in music, and then the bands that would be in that music 2. The columns have styling to make the Artist name (the first column) bigger 2. Switch the Grouping (genre) 3. Notice that the columns change size What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The header shouldn't change, just the contents of the table. Examining the source shows that the colgroup is never removed What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Checked out revision 16 off of svn. Adding $('colgroup').remove(); to the render function of the BaseLayoutProvider did the trick Please provide any additional information below.
