Stan posted a detailed crash report on PowerBook (according to Graham, the Intel version works fine):

Posted on Apr 27, 2008 by Quick Catfrom .44 on, I have tried to use a LilyPad inversal binary supplied by Nicolas Sceaux. I guess this means it was not a success.

Posted on Apr 27, 2008 by Quick OxAs noted on the list, both .44 and .45 do run correctly (so far as I know) from command line.

Posted on Apr 28, 2008 by Quick Catyes, this only refers to the GUI wrapper.
So summarizing, we have
10.3 ppc : ? 10.4 ppc : broken 10.4 x86 : ok 10.5 x86 : ok (using the ppc build)

Posted on Apr 28, 2008 by Quick OxI did not have access to an intel machine until this morning. I find the same behavior on my intel iMac running OS 10.4.11-- Lilypond v. 45 crashes on loading. I checked further and v. 2.11.44-1 also crashes on loading. v. 2.11.43-2 loads and runs correctly.
Full disclosure- I use Fink to manage Linux/Unix software, but the project is designed to be unobtrusive. I tried (on the PPC machine) running 2.11.45 on a new test account (with no path to fink files in /sw) and Lilypond showed the same behavior.

Posted on Apr 28, 2008 by Quick CatI think we have to declare this experiment failed. I'll build new binaries for .45 tonight.

Posted on Apr 29, 2008 by Quick OxThe new binary (2.11.45-2) works on my 10.4 ppc machine. Thanks!
