double the pleasure double the fun!

Cerebrate has the weapon that is to be the first akimbo weapon. Like stated
before players can buy some weapons akimbo. they will of course be heavier
and cost more. I think that adding left and right hand equipment slots
would be cool but a bit too much trouble.(so no mixing and matching) this
way we can get one akimbo gun working and the others will be easy.

this particular gun shoots out crap loads of bullets. It should work off of
a cool down system, times will have to be play tested. Bullets should
spread in a cone shape as they go on.

dont make the animations as technical as the one handed guns, just the
upper body needs to turn and pitch.

dont forget the animations for pulling them out

GL.

Looking good, the scale is a bit off me thinks tho, this gun was originally from
gundam so heres the pic of it to scale

about that size. It also has no texture.

just the animations after that and your good.

it has a texture, but it's just baked ambient occlusion. You didn't give me a texture
anyway. I also had to re-uv it, cause yours sucked ass.

there's also animations. switch between melee and them, you'll see. You didn't define
what kind of animation you wanted.

Looks grey to me, nothing else on it make it less gay. and there shouldn't be A UV i
just added color to polys.

check the weapon animations issue it goes over the animations for akimbo weapons.

Personally, I hate the idea of akimbo weapons in every form. Seperate from that
dislike is the question of usefulness: since these weapons are going to be inaccurate
and short-range, why wouldn't people just use melee weapons instead?

That being said, everyone else seems to be on board, so I don't expect to change
anything by voicing by dissent.

Keep in mind that our goal is to cater to as many people as we can without diluting
the over all idea.
As far as usefulness goes, they are inaccurate and short ranged, however if you get
close to an enemy and unload on them, theres a good chance they will die. shooting at
them from a distance should be able to harass them, keep them at bay. at least thats
the idea.

The bullet spread is a bit to extreme, lets make the cone a bit smaller, this weapons
needs to be able to hit people from affar, just not accuratly....does that make sense?

anywho, penis.

Would it be possible to attach the weapons to the lower arm bones? this way the would
point straight out. we could then re-size them to fit correctly and they would look
better.

I thought you wanted it so that they're holding on to those handholds, which is what
they currently do.

Well originally yes, however we can get a better effect with them if they connect to
the lower bone. as long as they are pointing forward.

Hey Cerebrate. before you put these back in can we tackle the turning animations differently? Just point the guns forward and have the torso turn towards the courser. I think it will look more clean and cause less problems.
