  issue 30 (Proxy quickstart for ant fails to deploy generated esb) reported by fady.mou...@gmail.com   -   Following the quickstart wiki at http://code.google.com/p/legstar- jbossesb/wiki/JBossESBLegStarProxyQuickStartAnt, running the generated deploy.xml fails with exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.legstar.xsdc.test.cases.jvmquery.JVMQuery This is because the esb created by build-esb.xml does not contain the target POJO and therefore the code is not on the classpath. A workaround is to edit build-esb.xml and include all classes from the build folder into the esb archive.

Rather than relying on maven dependencies which does not work at release time for internal dependencies(typically such dependencies would have a new version number but won't be in the repository yet when the plugin is built), we use a simple ant copy to bring in the latest internal dependencies.

We change back to a dependency on compile target, like all other samples, although this is wasteful (artifacts get generated twice).

POMs were updated to create artifacts that are as close as possible to Eclipse conventions. At Eclipse site generation, the final artifacts are created for the Eclipse site ready for upload. Also the Eclipse site does not duplicate the LegStar core artifacts anymore. It uses the associate site mechanism to refer to LegStar core update site.

  issue 29 (Upgrade core legstar to release 1.2.6) reported by fady.mou...@gmail.com   -   Release 1.2.6 brings benefits to legstar-jbossesb - Less dependency on Apache commons configuration (we now use configuration beans) - No more program properties files (we use a HostProgram bean instead) - New distribution folder where esb archives are generated. The esb archive is produced by a new build-esb.xml script. There is a separate script, deploy.xml, to deploy the archive to JBoss ESB (these 2 scripts replace build.xml). - Connection pooling engine uses LIFO queues - Pooled connections may now be automatically closed if they stay idle for too long
