KvScheduler is (based on) a program designed to manage student computer support consultants. It provides and interface for scheduling of appointments by the "Help Desk" and supervisors, as well as provides an interface for consultants to check their schedule and possible subscribe to text-message notifications and an iCal calendar feed, in addition to standard e-mail notifications.

The rules for who and what can happen when are quite configurable. Additionally, there is a reporting interface and the ability to configure different locations and types of appointments for different rules.

Soon, the GitRepository will have a branch of somewhat stable code, though it is probably highly difficult to actually get running as it is not very well documented, and contains some site-specific hacks which are holdovers from a currently in-place system. A new version will be coming as soon as possible, but in the meantime, please contact the project developer(s) or the mailing list if you want to try and get a copy running.

Version 2 is on the way soon, featuring a new interface and improved performance.
