What is it?

This is a project that is being used by the Java User Group Macedonia (JUGMK) for it's JUGMK Academy initiative. It can be deployed on the Google App Engine platform which means low cost and good startup for this kind of community projects.

What is a JUG Academy?

The JUGMK Academy is designed to be the weapon of choice of the Java User Group Macedonia (JUGMK) when it comes to introducing newbies and Java enthusiasts to the Java world.

So far, by having regular technical meetings in the JUGMK, mostly advanced topics and new bleeding technologies and methodologies were covered through the presentations, making those meetings invaluable for the Java beginners. And since one of the main goals of a JUG is to promote and popularize the Java technologies among fresh IT people, this JUGMK Academy will focus on that part of the JUG objectives.
