jThinker is a free software, so everyone can use it! Moreover, it's so free that everyone can develop it as well!

However, to use it effectively you should know the Theory of Constraints ideas, without them jThinker is just a tool for drawing boxes. So, here I list several TOC books that I value high myself.

  • Eliyahu M. Goldratt. Theory of Constraints. The fundamental book on application TOC to manufacturing processes. Includes the reference of thinking processes diagrams and all other stuff you'd better know for effective use of jThinker.

Node editing dialog is now redesigned and allows not only to alter node's text, but also to set a custom color and add a comment (displayed as a node's tooltip)

Issue 4 (bugfix & enhancement) "Unable to restore saved file"

Fixed a bug with file save/restore (which is probably specific for Mac OS), also made cosmetic redesign of "File" menu

Issue 5 (enhancement) "Add numbering of statements"

Added an option of automatic numbering of statements, which can be turned on or off via "Diagram Options" entry in the main menubar.
