Javascript client library for the Distributed Annotation System

The Distributed Annotation System (DAS) (http://www.biodas.org) is a protocol to share annotations on biological sequences, mainly genomes and proteins, using well defined and standard formats.

jsDAS is a javascript client library for DAS. It offers web developers full access to the data contained in the DAS network from inside the browser. It takes care of the communication with the servers and the data parsing and offers a simple yet powerful API to access all the received data.

With jsDAS, it's possible to build DAS simple DAS clients with a few lines of javascript.
