Over the years I have developed a wide range of scripts, ranging from the casual hack to the daily life-saver. The scripts are usually written in Python language or Bash shell language, and most often consist usually of a single file. Although originally written for selfish reasons, they can be useful to others, or at least serve as a starting point better than starting from scratch. They are not that elaborate to warrant a separate project for each, but as a whole I believe they deserve to be properly hosted, documented and versioned, in order to be more useful to others. Hence this umbrella project.
