JOrg - File collection managementIt's a software to help you control your files and their location. Mainly the files outside of your computer. Dvd's , Pendrives, HD... The point is not like Google Desktop, you will use JOrg to files outside of your control. How much is boring remember where is that file... even with our internet connection getting higher every day, some kinds of files (as personal pictures) aren't easily findable on the net. SoftpediaThe Softpedia portal had published this software over the mac section, and the brazilian SuperDownloads also has published this too here. You can see some screenshots there.

The basics conceptsContainerYou usually keep your units (dvd, cd, pendrive, hd) in something as a box and that also can contain a dvd container and other things. The software keeps the concept of container as a place where you can store your units. The container are organized as tree model. See this samples: USA >> Rhode Island >> Griffin's House >> Box1 Above there is a description of five containers (box1 is inside of griffin's house...) UnitUnit is something indexable, usually the ppl use it more with DVD RW and CD RW. However it can be a computer (10.1.10.20/myfiles) or any external HD. You cant put it or not inside a container... Following the explanation we can create and unit labeled as dvd1 and put it inside of Box1. FilesThis is the part you will spend more time. You can link any indexation to an existence unit or not. You just choose or say what is your source (physical unit, folder address, computer address) and the jorg will index files. You can skip all steps and just index your files... but the intend is organize. ScreenshotsMain
