Joolix is a live OS based on Archlinux, it is inspired by Slax and Larch, the structure and the way it works are also similar with Slax. Programs of Joolix are provide in squashed format and end with .app, programs can be easily installed just by copying the app file to /apps directory.

This project provides the hooks for the initrd and an app making environment.
