Unfortunate Note

This project is no longer being maintained. The upgrade idea was to build a real-time identi.ca style system that also controls time tracking, but we had no free time to deliver. Feel free to grab the code here and improve if you like... Sorry folks, and all the best!

JobTracker is a simple tool that tracks resources working time, for either project/team management purposes or self work organization. With this tool, you are able to keep record of every task/job you do at your company, and verify interesting things with that, such as:

  • your overall performance (how long you worked on a particular task/job, and how is it related to its deadlines)
  • what's keeping you busy lately
  • share the results with your team
  • easily share jobs among your team

It was designed to be integrated to an existing Google Apps domain, hence you may use it as a library code, and deploy your own, with no links or data sharing with others using this same code. As one limitation of Google App Engine to provide integration with only a single domain per application, we decided to release this as library code instead, to allow you to do it with your own domain without problems. If that changes in future, we may adapt the code to provide integration to multiple Google Apps accounts.
