Response Times Distribution since 0.4.0
This graph will display the response time distribution of the test. The X axis shows the response times grouped by interval, and the Y axis the number of samples which are contained in each interval.

Really great plugins for graphs and charts
One suggestion/question I have. When we chose to write results to file, plug-in is writing all sample data. This can be a problem for a long duration test. Is it possible to just write data that is required to render the graph only?
No, we can't do it this way, because we extend JMeter listener classes. But... Take a look at loadosophia.org, it stores the data for you.
If we have more threads than just the three shown here, then the graph is not easily readable.
yes true. You can filter select which one to display. And if you need to display all, use percentiles.
