The Gears part of the project contains the generic GIS part of the library, which deal for example with reprojection modules, as well as vector extraction or rasterization. All the modules are OMS3 compliant, and therefore can be chained together in OMS3 scripts.

This also containes all the base libraries on which the Horton Machine modules depend and build on.
