Hello, I'm running S800MXBIL1 on my Jet and is able to boot both Android and Samsung OS error-free :)

S8000XeII2 Works Perfect

but whats up with that "JetQi patch" and "Can be replaced with patched S8000XPIJ7" ? do i have to patch sth at first? or is that S8000XPIJ7-bootloader the patched jetqi-bootloader?

The idea of the jetQi patches was to provide binary patches (using bsdiff) to patch all compatible bootloader versions to the working S8000XPIJ7 version.

This is the reason why I included the MD5 hashes in this table. What we need is a bsdiff patch for each individual boot_loader.mbn (identified by MD5) that creates the working JetQi bootloader (based on S8000XPIJ7).

I just did not have time to do this. Anyone interested to do this?

Hi, i would like to modify the jetqi to support DX firmware. I found that the address location is different between XE and DX firmware. how should i fix that?

Tested DX firmware is working, now I am currently using android but in order for me to use wifi, making call .etc I have to switch back to TouchWiz?

Hi dopi711, I'm currently using the S800MDXIL3, I'm able to boot the JetKernel 0.2 although Android will hang when the phone was left idle. It will not be a problem if I avoid the phone being idle but will become irritating if I always do that.

Hi khiu91, thanks for your update. The problem with the idle mode is normal behaviour. I am happy to hear that there is finally a way to use the current JetQi with DX firmwares. This is great news.

Nope, it isnt working here, im using IL3 as well, once flashed with Jetqi i couldnt boot up at all. It really isnt working as the hardware address conflict is there between Jetqi and the firmware from DX region, not the bootloader itself.

Hello, I successfully flashed JetQi0?.2 as well. I had firmware version S8000RFIF2. I reflashed the phone by S8000XPIJ7 and then finally I changed the bootloader to JetQi.

good evening manu.co.in... this is noel from Philippines.. i need a help from you...i follow all the instruction on how to make the JET to android... i already partition my memory card... i already have a EXT3 root directory..its say's their extract all the files of jetPlatform in the ext3 root directory. i follow that instruction..... and this is my problem where will i put all the FILES of JETKERNEL??? because when i put all that files in the same root directory, it has a same name "INIT" folder in jetkernel and "INIT" file in JETPLATFORM..that is my problem in what exact folder should i put the all the files of JETKERNEL???? I used JetPlatform? 0.3pre1 and JetKernel 0.3pre3...pls help me to figure this out... thank you to whom it may concern..

You arn't using the sources are you? Because the JetKernel only consists of a zImage and the boot config text file in its built state. You do not need the sources.

s8000hzhjc23126 firmware works with JetQi + 0.2 to latest platform 0.3pre1 .

Problem is the pink and or cyan "yellow upload data to pc" screen. Can be fixed using "camera vol down power" to get to red boot loader screen and flashing boot file for s8000hzhjc again.

0.3pre1 platform with 0.2 kernel is very fast but with usb not working and usb cable connected to charge you will see horizontal lines after a few mins or screen freeze.

From Australia - 3 Hutchinson S8003MBIJ1 does not bootflash to jetQi 0.2... must flash to working firmware first... i went to S8000XPJA1 and boot flashed ok to jetQi 0.2
