jcogo is a Free Software program which can do basic coordinate geometry operations.

Currently, it is possible to open and save coordinate files, add and edit points via coordinate entry or azimuth/distance, calculate areas, traverse and inverse.

FeatureRequests include algebra of angles, azimuths, bearings, etc., as well as plotting and drawing lines, points.

At some point the project may be rewritten in another language (perl, python, C++, etc) which has GTK bindings for a Gnome UI.
