Introduction
JCard kit is a solution for Java Card development, supporting developers using Eclipse or NetBeans with supported smart cards or simplely using a card simulator.
Propose
The propouse of JCard kit is to be the "OpenOffice" of the Java Card development. Supporting the development a variety of applets Java Card, beyond tasks like card manager and testing environment.
Features
JCard Kit is still under requirement definition, the partial list of features is:
- Shell (console) to send commands to the smart card or simulator
- Card manager (Global Platform)
- Profile manager
- Logging
- Java Editor based on the Java Card specific version restrictions
- Support to Java Card 2.x and 3.x
- Project wizard to create some kind of applets like GSM, PKCS#15, Simple HelloWord, SIO, etc.
