A connector presents a collection of services via a standardised API to the Jangle core WebLayer.

Two connectors currently exist for Jangle:

• The BaseConnector uses Rails models, integrated directly into the application, to compose the connector.
• The KohaConnector is an example of how to use Jangle components to provide access to a third-party ILS database.
