j960 is developing for next customization. There was plan to create template framework as simple as possible, maybe primitive. No additional module positions or eye-candy gadgets. Just all required files and basic layout. j960 includes four basic layout presets, but requires creating your own module positions. It's easy. Just insert this code into the index.php:

Note: j960 uses semantic corect modules positions "sidebar" and "navigation" to display module content. j960 not includes any traditional position (left, right, user1, etc.).

j960 has been created based on the 960 Grid System and the Beez template. 960 Grid System is one of the best CSS frameworks. It enables very easy implementation and layout creating. Beez is the top joomla template constructed according to accessibility guides. j960 utilizes its HTML-output templates to override core HTML-output.
