After researching limitations in the iGoogle Gadget API and Javascript I can find no method of scraping the Optus usage page and fixing the gadget. If someone with more knowledge of the Legacy Google Gadget API and Javascript can prove me wrong I would not mind in the slightest. So, with this Usage Meter, Optus have unfortunately won (refer http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1124145)!
