IRIS (I Read It Somewhere) is an online citations management tool that enable academics to maintain a database of papers and books they have read along with metadata in a collaborative environment that enables interpersonal collaboration and citation sharing.

• Online database of citation articles accessible from any web browser.
• Import/Export bibtex formatted citations.
• Import Standard Reference formatted citations.
• Multi-user interface permitting collaborative citation databases.
• Online PDF storage requiring user authentication to ensure access rules are protected.
• Personal metadata attached to each article to track read status, keywords, and notes.
• Protected RSS feeds for integration with third-party applications.

• Firefox extension with one-click citation import from Scholar's Portal (including PDF article!).
• Easy to use API.
