This is a small python project which focuses on bringing Twitter into IRC. The main point of recognition is "Why do I need a Twitter client and a IRC client?". The Twitter IRC bot helps to build a bridge between the IRC world and the Twitter world by acting as a gateway. The project was inspired by the Bitlbee bot.

Currently the bot is fully functioning and allows you to receive twitters and send twitters in a shared channel, however plans are being made to choose between sharing the tweets to the channel and to PM are being made, however code will have to be revised.

As this is the first that I (Michael) have made a program so heavily use sockets in Python the code maybe messy or might fail from time to time. All criticism is accepted and if you have any idea's or problems please use the issue tracker.
