My goal with this project is to write a native windows app, using C# (mainly because thats what I know).

The purpose in this app is to make a dead simple video conversion app, initially aimed at converting MKV (Matroska) files, with subtitles, to specific formats (I'm picking iPhone first). If all goes well, I will try and add more formats and more target devices later. This will basically for people who don't know and don't care about video codec settings, but just want to drag and drop multiple files to be converted for another device.

I started this app because I can't find any apps that handle MKV files with subtitles halfway intelligently to convert for me to watch on my iPhone.

Later on, if all goes well, I also might consider porting it over to be cross-platform using Mono.
