TreeBASE
IntroductionTreeBASE is a relational database of phylogenetic information hosted by the Yale Peabody Museum. Mapping TreeBASE names and studies to identifiersThe TBMap project (see published description at doi:10.1186/1471-2105-8-158) was a first attempt to map TreeBASE taxon names to external taxonomic databases. Chen et al.'s Phylofinder doi:10.1186/1471-2148-8-90, http://pilin.cs.iastate.edu/phylofinder/, makes use of tis mapping. TBMap also contained a mapping of TreeBASE studies to publication identifiers, such as DOIs and PubMed ids. ResultsResults can be found here: http://code.google.com/p/iphylo/source/browse/trunk/data/treebase/results/ The file http://code.google.com/p/iphylo/source/browse/trunk/data/treebase/results/tb.ris is a Reference Manager format file for those references that don't have a globally unique identifiers, such as a DOI or a Handle. The file http://code.google.com/p/iphylo/source/browse/trunk/data/treebase/results/tbguids.xlsx is an Excel 2008 spreadsheet listing DOIs and PubMed identifiers for TreeBASE studies. A tab-delimited text file version of this spreadsheet is here http://code.google.com/p/iphylo/source/browse/trunk/data/treebase/results/tbguids.txt |
