Comment by SpiroExD...@gmail.com, Jan 27, 2010

Right version of .net here but I'm using a European XP ('Cos I'm British) and I'm using iTunes version 9. So they may be the problem.

Grr. I'd SSH but I don't have a Wireless router yet. Don't generally trust wireless. It's slower than wired and it's less secure.

Comment by ichbin...@hotmail.com, Jan 2, 2011

all of a sudden the iphonebrowser 1.93 does not work any more. Put the missing itunesMobileDevice.dll in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support but that did not help.

Comment by jeffab...@gmail.com, Jan 25, 2011

anyone know of an app like iPhone Browser that will work without installing itunes?

Comment by fullmeta...@gmail.com, Feb 7, 2011

Just wanted to point out that this works perfectly for iPad 64 gb 3G. Didn't know if anyone knew that but throwing it out there.

Comment by tatsu.ko...@gmail.com, Mar 5, 2011

2nd gen ipod touch !!NOT!! jailbroken, works fine. why?

you don't need the afc2add, or the ipod to even be jailbroken. just right click the music folder and save to, and click your music. it won't show up in the browser because the files are hidden, but as soon as you start copying them over they show up. thank you for saving me having to find all my CDs when my computer fried, I don't have half of them anymore.

Comment by edwinbradford@gmail.com, May 25, 2011

OK many people ideally want to install iPhoneBrowser without iTunes and I just found the solution. CopyTrans? have a driver only installer here www.copytrans.net/support.php?action=showEntry&data=1275 it will install Apple's own drivers.

Once that's done install iPhoneBrowser and you have access to your entire iPhone without iTunes. I suspect installing iTunes then removing the application leaving the drivers might also be possible. I have another solution which is to buy Android next time :)

Windows 7 64 bit doesn't even work at all. Process doesn't show up.

Comment by x1jes...@sbcglobal.net, Feb 9, 2012

it used to work for me on windows 7 64 bit untill i upgraded itunes and to iphone 4s i am not sure why it stopped working from when my 3g would work with it now i cant even launch the program wtf

Comment by ec...@daimysword.com, Feb 10, 2012

A similar situation to x1jes. I believe the issue is windows or iphone browser related. maybe in its implementation of .NET framework. It fails to run on my home PC running win 7 64 and itunes 10.5 but it runs fine on my laptop running the same setup. also runs fine on my work PC however this is win 7 x86 but still is using itunes 10.5.

Re-installation of both iphonebrowser and itunes fails to rectify. And i know that if i Reformat my PC and re-install the OS Itunes and Iphone browser it will start working again.

Comment by emad.fal...@gmail.com, Mar 1, 2012

you need Apple QuickTime? too, latest iTunes don't has QuickTime?.

Comment by project member NetMage....@gmail.com, May 17, 2012

I have added QuickTime? to the requirements list.
