How To Access Contacts on a BRAND NEW iPhone(In the easiest way) DetailsConnect the brand new iPhone to the dock. iTunes will startup asking for activation, etc.. Unlock the keypad and you'll see the emergency call keyboard. NOW click on the "iPhone" label in itunes ONCE and click again to change phone name. Change it to whatever different from the one you see (iPhone by default). YOU ARE IN CONTACTS NOW :) Brought to you by iphone elite ! Found by Zibri. NOTE This procedure works for sure on 1.0.2. It doesn't seem to work on 1.1.1. Maybe it could also work on early 1.0.
