Quickhelp for InvulgoTracker

Introduction

InvulgoTracker is a simple application to track project/task time in Gnome Linux.

The main idea behind it, is to build your own task tree. A tree that makes sense to you. You can have only root tasks if that is your fancy. But normally any task can be subdivided into a number of subtasks. InvulgoTracker enables you to do this - any task can be subdivided. You can still use that parent task, just as you would the subtask - it is just a question of where you want to report your time.

Normally you would insert a time when starting a task, and then insert a new time when starting a new task. In the end of the day, you should insert an end task (One you created yourself for the purpose.). You are free to go back and edit the timestamps if they are not to your liking.

Details

  • Add your tasks in the treelist to the left.
  • Then select the current task and add it to the time list on the right.
  • Summary is shown top right.
  • Choose any day using the calendar.
  • Times can be edited at any time.
  • Tasks can also be added using the dropdown menu on the tray icon.
