What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Intranet chat version 2.0.0 in Ubuntu. and some Windows systems

Please provide any additional information below.

First I need to thank you for the software .. I was in search for this type
of software. I grabed this software and installed in some systems on trail
basis. It works nicely ..

I need to give some suggestions.. will you please incorporate groups and
subgroups for the users. Like if i need to send message to a likewise group
persons i can select that group persons and send the message.

We have around 200 computers which are located in different states. These
systems are installed with different os like win'98,winxp,linux(ubuntu) in
different departments. So I thought of the Groups and sub-Groups concept.

Thank you for the changes ..

One more suggestion, If we need to chat in WAN or through VPN it is not possible. If
you put some more efforts to check this issue. It will be very very helpful.

chatting over wan and VPN as the multicast message are stripped and don't make it
past the routing device. to get it to work it requires the use of a server which is
not what I was going for
