What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Folders with images without exiv data get sorted wrong

It would be very nice if IntiPunku could read (and edit) Picasa.ini files
(or make a similar file). This would also make it possible to associate a
location with an album.

images without exif get sorted on their modification date. What can i do? I don't see
how a picasa.ini would solve that. If the information isn't there nobody can do
anything about it.
I dont understand exactly what Picasa.ini does so maybe you can further elaborate on
that.

That picasa.ini file includes (among other things) the date of that folder. So in
picasa, you give a date to folder, and all folders get sorted by those dates.

So where you asking for is more compatibility with picasa? Where is the picasa.ini
stored and please send me one. The thing is however, folders in this program get
sorted with the dates in the file, so you can also simply change date of a foto in
your album.

Here is a picasa.ini file, but i don't really see how the date is formatted, the
actual date for that album is 31 march 2008. There is such a file in every picture
folder.

The problem is that when you add a file to an old album (when you make a panorama for
example), the album gets sorted at the top. Now you have to manually edit the date
for that single picture. If intipunku would read keep track of the date for each
folder, that folder would stay where it was.

Right now I could also just edit the date for those pictures, but the date editing
feature doesn't seem to work here (on 0.3pre3-1 in ubuntu hardy).

yes there is a bug for editing date, but i dont have enough info. Please post some
output on this bug report please: http://code.google.com/p/intipunku/issues/detail?id=12

Your feature request will be implemented in 0.4 since it requires some structural
changes.
