Be more informative regarding what in particular causes a connection attempt to fail. Can't find/resolve/connect to server? Bad Auth? Additionally, offer the user a way out of the connect->fail->prefs->retry->fail->prefs->retry cycle, other than hitting the home button to quit. |

Everything except good status information is implemented. Pushing status notification to later milestone.
