Mono Support
igp.net uses Windows Forms for graphical user interface. Mono 2.0 introduced a fairly complete implementation of that libraries. Therefore, it is possible to run igp on platforms equipped with the newest versions of Mono.
Version 0.9.1.0 contains some fixes that make igp.net more Mono-friendly. The following software configurations have been tested (although not very thoroughly):
- Official Mono VMware machine - based on openSUSE 11.0 with GNOME and Mono 2.0.1,
- "Real" Linux installation - openSUSE 11.0 with KDE 4.1 and Mono 2.0.1.17.
There were problems with save dialogs on the virtual machine - they just didn't appear. But they didn't occur then running with the latest Mono build available (2.0.1.17). In case you experience any problems, try to upgrade Mono.
NOTE Mono does not recognize the runtime tag from the config file. Just copy the libraries (dll) from libs to the main folder.
