Hi! The iGetScores project has become a part of mob1serv project. Mob1serv is a universal web service solution for iPhone / Android featuring Online High Scores, Push Notifications (direct messages and events), GeoPos (Google map locations), OAuth Contracter (Facebook / Twitter integration), Blobs (file storage). Please follow us there! iGetScores server is still supported but we won't add new features here!

At mob1serv, the service has been seriously optimized and is now powering many successful apps in Appstore. We are constantly improving the service and adding new modules, also improving the back end.

iGetScores

General information

An online high scores system for games (iPhone and other platforms).

Upd: 26 June 2009 - we have uploaded the source codes for both server and client, please check in Source -> Browse -> trunk.

Also, a great iPhone implementation sample is coming - will be uploaded soon - including the OpenGL implementation featuring country flags, nice scroller and time in "2 weeks ago" etc format.

The project is now in beta testing stage and there is no web interface yet for you to add your games - but please write us contact@igetscores.com with your suggested consumer key (kind of login) and consumer password - and we will create an account for you. You will be able to export your results via XML at any time and also set up your own high scores server when you decide so - the server sources are also provided.

All developers are invited to use, test and participate in further development of the system. You're welcome to join the club!

Test game

There is a test game for you which you may try before creating an account with iGetScores. Here are the access details:

There are 2 custom fields in this test game - 'secrets' and 'artifacts'. Please note that other developers may be adding/removing/modifying records in the test game at the same time.

  • bug fixed: duplicates protection patch caused the effect that sometimes (with quick play games) the lower score overwrote the high score made few minutes earlier from the same device ID (fixed - now it only overwrites when the score is higher)
