IntroductionThere are two methods for creating flash cards: - The easiest way to create your flash cards is to first create the text files on your computer and then transfer them to your iPhone. To do this you must have SFTP setup on your iPhone or alternatively you can use iFuntastic 3.0 to transfer files to your phone.
- You can also use MobileTextEdit and MobileFinder to create new flash card sets directly on your iPhone.
Scroll down for both tutorials. Method 1In this method we will create the flash card files on a computer and then transfer them to your iPhone. - Create a folder on your desktop and name it with what you want the flash card set named. For example "French Vocabulary."
- Open the newly created folder.
- Create two text files in the folder and name one of them "questons.txt" and then named the other "answers.txt".
- Open questions.txt with a text editor (ie. TextEdit or Notepad) and write your questions one per line. For example:
bonjour
ca va? - Open answers.txt with a text editor and write your answers one per line. For example:
hello
how are you? - When you have completed your questions and answers, transfer them to the /var/root/Library/iFlashCards directory on your iPhone.
