IFC WebServer is a free to use Building Information Model (BIM) Server and online viewer based on the ISO 16739 -Industry Foundation Classes standards (IFC) .

It aims to smooth the process of sharing and exchanging information from BIM models.

Main features

• Handle IFC models natively
• Provide search, reporting and retrieval of IFC partial-models
• Extendable through server & classes extensions

• Dynamic EXPRESS parser: on-the-fly parsing of any IFC schema (IFC2x2, IFC2x3, IFC4 are supported by default).

• Extract and convert data from BIM models in different formats: supported formats include

  • COLLADA :convert the 3D geometry representation of IFC objects into COLLADA format (in progress).
  • SVG : convert the 2D geometry representations into 2D graphic files
  • HTML/XML

• Simple and advanced filters/queries:

  • IFC : save query results as partial model in IFC format
  • HTML :query results in tabular form inside the web browser
  • XML : save query results as simple XML files

• IFC WebViewer: view and share BIM models online through any modern internet browser.
