Vanuan: Absolutely not, other than that they use this ROM as a base.

刷了N次都开不了机，无限重启，连recovery都不能进，只好用0din重刷

My problem was resolved...I flash ICS beta1 first, then flash the newest version, after that, it can boot successfully

ICS RC1 is running fine with me. Some minor glitches. GPS runnig alot better :D

I can't put my SGS on USB Mass storage. Someone help me pls!! I have ICS RC2 mounted on it and can't trabsfer files from my PC- When I connected It means "PROCESS HAVE BEEN STOPPED android.process.media. and Accept.

great work with the ics rom for sgs i9000.... you guys keep getting better and better each time...

sometimes even on 3.1 the touchscreen freezes, and it happens for example when i try to end a call! it's quite annoying. but mostly i get it in the lock screen when i open my phone. i wait 3 4 second then the back and menu button light up and then the touch works. it's not a major issue and it doesn't happen that often but it can get in the wayl...

i also have a request for you guys. if you can install samsung apps app! lately they have lots of goodies there that are priced pretty high on the android market (like dead space, air attack, sprinkle etc) for free! so please consider putting samsung apps into ics

anyways everything else is perfect! never i had such a good gps that i can finnaly rely on, and my phone doesn't close itself randomly like it did on gingerbread (even 2.3.6!)

RC4 was released last night but pulled due to a wifi issue (network data being used even when on wifi)

apparently this will be resolved and re-released (or a .point release I guess) fairly soon.

im using it now and all i did to stop that from happening is disable mobile data and i have no problems with it so far... i was ah lil down when i lost all my apps but it was more or less well worth it... simple issues like game glitches and FC have been eliminated, and the only app i seem to have any FC is with SPB SHELL 3D so far... but great work guys great work

Everything made it clear it would wipe and you need to backup :/ Even if it didn't, the fact that it had been pulled, obviously for issues, should have made you realize you should backup :(

I loaded it just before it was pulled. So far it works just fine on my I9000.

Hi there, I recently upgrade my Galaxy I9000 to ICS 4.0.3. Now, when I try to buy an app in the market I get the following error "An error occurred while processing your purchase. Please try again later". I already cleaned the cache from the market app, but nothing happened, also tried to buy apps from https://market.android.com, but I get the same error. I sent an email to google and they said that since my phone is rooted they can not support me.

any idea what goes wrong ?

ok so here's what i've been using RC4 since released and it actually works kinda alright... not 100% but close i'm from trinidad and have no issues with the wifi and data usage since we dont have data plans down here... only apps that i have had any problems with so far are SPB 3D shell some times GTA3 blackmart and maybe one or two others that i cant remember but everything else seems to be working just find... jus curious but are those all the camera features....

Hi guys, I'm using the ICS 4.0.3 and it's amazing the change. Everything works so smooth... My apps from Titanium Backup was restore without a problem. The only issue is the wifi, but I'll try a new modem

why can't i play avi or any other video formats besides mp4?

keep saying that the android.process.media not working

i download this build and everything works except making and recieving calls it doesnt connect and when dial from another mobile it says the mobile number is not in service even though my network is working properly

loved rc 4.1 but most of my apps from gingerbread 2.3.6 would not work on rc 4.1 is this issue fixed in rc4.2?

Other than samsung bundled apps that will not run on anything other than samsung touchwize, I don't have a single app that didn't run on every release candidate of icssgs except for with some builds compass apps had problems, and instant heart rate monitor (apps bug with ics not iscsgs problem), but they all work now.

Installed this on my Vodafone AU Galaxy S last night & this morning. First flash attempt resulted in a boot-loop (invoked from Darky ROM tools), but after hard-booting into CWM recovery the second flash attempt succeeded, and I've been up and running all day on ICS. Wireless is definitely ok & I think GPS too (map is locating within 20m). Nice job!

Auto brightness is not fixed. 4.0.3 RC4.2 for I9000. The screen gets very dark and stays dark no mater environment light intensity.

Good job! Everything works, but I have one problem: I can't lock my phone. I have tried every way to lock it, but it only works after starting the phone. Any hints?

Whenever i flashed to RC 4.2 and reboot it just froze on the Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 boot screen. But when i flash back to stock rom and flash back to RC3.1 it work just fine.

Nope, as it's leaked we will not be using it, we only build from source. When google push the source code for it thats when we will use 4.0.4.

I'm amazed how the Galaxy has been improved !!! I can not understand (apart from obvious commercial reasons) why it won't be upgraded by Samsung, the mobile flies now and looks amazing, it's not a question of hardware. So you are the best !! I'm coming from DarkyROM and I was very happy but after trying your ICSSGS ROM I think I probably won't return to the "old" 2.3.6 ;-)) Thank you so much guys !!! Ready to donate ;-) Oh, just to mention something not so positive, battery life should be better.

external sd card not working, works on pc , detects on phone but can get to it through file manger and apps can access it either, waste of my time

problem is that the external card link on sd card is using as a folder rather than a link to sd card

seem like alot of program crashing like market and music players, maybe samsung taking so long to releaase this for a reason? think i will wait till all the ironing is done

So far, the only "problems" I have is when writing messages horizontally, the text becomes mixed with the window title & contact number + previous received message. Camera is working fine (added panoramic pictures) Wireless & BT OK (BT got even better, now I can plug Headset while in call)

Facebook contact pictures aren't being added to contacts (if someone knows how to fix it)

First of all: you guys are wonderful! But I am experiencing some major issues. I switched from 3.1 to 4.2 because after a while 3.1 started closing every single process (market, music, messages, phone calls, browser). Apart from that it was much faster than Samsung`s 2.3 and even MC3 and other games worked very well. Now with 4.2 I got a stable OS, but it is kind of laggy and my phone needs some time opening applications or the app dock. Also 3D games like MC3 are not usable due to some major lags every 10 seconds. I don't know why that is, but please go on optimizing ICS for the Galaxy S, so I don't have to buy a new phone already!
