issue 4 (HxFormat installation fails with "Unexpected element tag" on...) commented on by j...@publicinstinct.co.za   -   I tried the same thing. I also found a hint on google to update to the latest haxelib. Checked it out from svn and compiled both haxe and haxelib but still the same problem. Also, I have succeeded in installing hxformat by forcing haxelib to download and install the previous version (1.13). So, this seems to be a problem with the latest version. Try "haxelib install format 1.13" and let me know, if this works for you.

issue 4 (HxFormat installation fails with "Unexpected element tag" on...) reported by j...@publicinstinct.co.za   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Install Haxe 2.04 using the Automatic Install script (tested on both Windows XP and Ubuntu 9.04) 2. Open a terminal or command prompt and issue "haxelib install format" What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Hxformat should download and install successfully. issue 1 (PixelBender PBJ assembler bug in Writer.hx) Status changed by ncannasse   -   I don't seem to be able to reproduce. I have used the official toolkit and wrote the following code : dst.b = length(src.rg); Using PBJReader it correctly decompiles it as : length f1.b f2.rg And if I write the bytes using the Writer and compare them to the original PBJ bytes, they are the same. So it seems that the Writer does it job right.
    Status: Invalid

issue 2 (format.abc.Writer.hx causes compile error) reported by superdon   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. write code calling format.abc.Writer.write() 2. compile What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected to see successful compile. Instead, got: /usr/lib/haxe/lib/format/1,09/format/abc/Writer.hx:336: characters 2-9 : Cannot access static field write from a class instance What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Please provide any additional information below. The problem is caused by the static 'write' method calling 'write' instance method instead of calling 'writeABC' which was probably renamed from 'write' so the static method can be named 'write'.
