Can it be used in other new devices?

Probably yes, all new devices using NBH format for rom upgrades should be supported out of the box, at least until HTC changes the SPL commands :)

Can it be used in other old devices?

Probably not, HTC Flasher v3 only supports devices using NBH ROM format, if your device uses older NBF files it is currently not supported.

Your feedback/patches are more than welcome :)

hi,very good ,why the laster win32 without GUI?

Comment by poliva, Jun 27, 2008

The GUI depends on zenity, and it's not easy to compile GTK+ apps such as zenity on win32.

support HTC Universal?

Comment by poliva, Jul 23, 2008

HTC Neon: yes, it's a touch variant which uses NBH format, so should be supported.

HTC Universal: No, it uses NBF format for rom upgrades. HTCFlasher only supports NBH devices at the moment.

Hello, I have a HP iPAQ 614c/612c, the HP rom update utility uses a file called FLASH.NBF, could you please tell me if there is a utility out there that will support NBF formats, I am still a beginner but learning as I go a long

Also I was able to extract the rom using the following commands:-

.\Tools1\pdocread -w -d TrueFFS -b 0x800 -p Part00 0 0x14fc00 Part00.raw Pause .\Tools1\pdocread -w -d TrueFFS -b 0x800 -p Part01 0 0x1e0000 Part01.raw Pause .\Tools1\pdocread -w -d TrueFFS -b 0x800 -p Part02 0 0x4cbc000 Part02.raw pause

Or using these:- REM Tool .\Tools1\pdocread -w -d TrueFFS -p Part00 0 0x14fc00 Part00.raw Pause .\Tools1\pdocread -w -d TrueFFS -p Part01 0 0x1e0000 Part01.raw Pause .\Tools1\pdocread -w -d TrueFFS -p Part02 0 0x4cbc000 Part02.raw Pause

Also this one .\Tools1\pdocread 0x0 0x5000000 diskimage_Ver.nb0

Can you please help me to understand how I can use

pdocwrite to flash my PDA back safely or if there is another tool that can help.

please note 3 weeks ago I started with zero knowledge to this stage now.

your help is much appreciated.
