The user interface displays a "radar screen" with information extracted from the source documents, allowing the historian to start exploring them from the points more likely to have events of interest.

This application is being developed as part of the seminar Unlocking the Secrets of the Past: Text Mining for Historical Documents (WS 2009/10), with the implementation work divided among the four team members.
