Qlipboard requires some additional work for other platforms, like support of text selection (which is not available on windows) and additional work to support global hotkeys (while currently I am implementing it for windows only). And of course there will always be possibility to run Klipper on any other dekstop as long as it supports freedesktop.org. Currently it's windows-only :) until somebody will create request to support other platforms. Qlipboard requires some additional work for other platforms, like support of text selection (which is not available on windows) and additional work to support global hotkeys (while currently I am implementing it for windows only). And of course there will always be possibility to run Klipper on any other dekstop as long as it supports freedesktop.org.
