What exact steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Goto to Data tab and open Filter
2. Start typing part of the column name and hit CTRL+space

What was the expected output?
Auto-complete box has suggestions for matching column name(s)

What happened instead?
Auto-complete box is empty (see attachment)

Suggested fix (optional)?

Version used?
HeidiSQL revision: 7.0.0.4363 (I know screenshot is from 4362, but same in 4363)
 MySQL Server version: 5.5
 Operating system: Windows 7

Idea: Can HeidiSQL provide me with there metadata (some kind of autogenerated dump)?

Yes, that's yet missing, and it's a good idea to get column names into the proposal. Only that's not a bug, just a missing thing which was never implemented.

I can't understand that question, and what that has to do with the above described thing.

OK - didn't know ;-)

Creating a new issue, the system ask for "Version used...". I think it could be smart, if I could click a button, and HeidiSQL generated a file containing these information (and then I should only upload this file as part of the create issue process).

Ah, understand. Well I think the reporter should do that himself. It's not hard to do that and it helps to keep the tracker clean from lots of nonsense reports. Creating a bug report should involve some thinking and it's very ok if the reporter spends some minutes on that. Think about the effort I have afterwards, please. Some reports are described very short, and solutions sometimes take several hours, days, weeks to be implemented. Also, I already get too many duplicate issues here, and nonsense reports. So I'm probably not going to make it too simple to create a report :)
