What is the problem that needs to be solved (required)?
////////////////////////////////////////////////
version :HeidiSQL Portable 6.0.0.3603
/*the code for test(note: the sort result from the code is right):*/

CREATE TABLE `table_A10` (
`B2` double(25,6) NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`B2`),
UNIQUE KEY `B2` (`B2`)
) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1;

insert into table_A10 values (0.1),(-1.1),(-0.1),(-1.2);
select * from table_A10 order by B2;
/////////////////////////////////////
then in the query windows click on tab "B2" ,the sort result is:
-0.100000
-1.100000
-1.200000
0.100000
///////////////////////////
 click on tab "B2" again ,the sort result is:
0.100000
-1.200000
-1.100000
-0.100000

Problem was that only the first char was taken to detect if some value is a string or a number. The minus sign alone caused Heidi to think this is a string. Now it takes the first two chars to detect number or string, which then fixes this issue.
