We haven't disappeared! We are currently working on the next version of the Hebrew package (I am talking on behalf of the iVrit Group!)

iVrit HebGUI - iPhone free, open source, Hebrew GUI for iPhone.

This project maintains the Hebrew GUI for the latest iPhone OS - Currently 2.2.1. We are a subsidiary to the iVrit project, which takes care of the BiDi support and the Hebrew keyboard for the device.
