You should know these things: - There is a current bug in the 1.x versions in which the Swiftfox installation gets stalled because any other items you've marked for installation try to override what it needs to do. Solution for the time being: do all your other installations first, then select Swiftfox and then 'start' and run it as its own separate installation. Sorry!
- Running Hakix automatically replaces your repository list (etc/apt/sources.list) with the U.S ftp.debian.org repositories. This just makes it easier and guarantees that everyone gets the same version.
- Hakix also adds repositories such as Swiftfox and Debian-Multimedia repos.
- Don't worry, we back up your old sources.list to /etc/apt/sources.list(time&date) so you don't lose your old sources. If you want to, you can then replace Hakix's with yours once you're done. This may mean you don't get notified of updates to some packages if they were installed via repos you remove later.
- Despite the Beryl/AIGLX 3D Desktop installation seeming automatic, you still need to edit your xorg.conf, so don't forget!
- Installation of the LibDVDcss2 library (allows you to decode DVDs and other stuff) is possibly illegal in your country, so do your research first. If you don't care about the law, that's ok, but don't blame me, I take no responsibility, I just made it possible :) I lay it out for you to play it out, like Huggy Bear says in Starsky & Hutch.
- Despite French Ninja being a French Ninja, there is no guarantee that you will also be blessed with crazy hardcore ninja wickedness after using Hakix. Do not try backflipping up into trees whilst installing stuff with such ease without first consulting a real ninja on how to do so.
- Hakix is released under the GPL. It's Free as in Freedom, but I won't say Free as in Beer, because what sort of statement is that anyway? Where is this Free Beer? Who gives away free beer? In any case, it is free of charge. Unlike beer.
