How do I use this thing?

1.0 Make sure your settings are correct.

This sensor relies heavily on other systems to make sure it functions correctly. Thats why its important to really make sure your settings are correct. For example setting the server, address and SensorPath are critical to the sensor functioning correctly. If a setting is not set correctly is should show up in the logs and hopefully the status page. Taking a look at the log files (assuming permissions are correct and they are getting written) should give you a good indication of any problems.

2.0 Subscribing to services

After a user has installed the sensor, setting up and subscribing to services is fairly straight forward. To subscribe to an event a user only needs to select the event and click the apply button.

A user may subscribe to multiple events at a time as well as specify an optional XPath Filter query to limit the amount of information they wish the sensor to receive.

A user may also subscribe on un-subscribe to all events using the buttons at the bottom of the Service Management Page.
